Dutypoint Pump Selection Tool

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Dutypoint Pump Selection Tool ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms of Use govern your use of the online pump selection and configuration platform operated by Dutypoint Ltd. For terms relating to the purchase and supply of goods and services, please refer to the Dutypoint Customer Registration Terms and Conditions.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides an online platform for:

  • Pump selection and hydraulic configuration
  • Performance curve analysis and visualisation
  • Project management and documentation
  • Generation of technical datasheets and specifications

All pump selections and technical data provided through the Service are intended as guidance only. Final engineering responsibility for product suitability and system design lies with the user.

3. User Accounts

You may use the Service as a guest or by creating a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Guest accounts are temporary and may be subject to limitations. Registered accounts provide full access to project management, data export, and sharing features.

Dutypoint reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use.

4. Data Ownership

All data entered into, generated by, and stored within the Service belongs to Dutypoint Ltd. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Project configurations and selections
  • Technical calculations and performance data
  • User-generated project documentation
  • Usage data and interaction records

Dutypoint may use anonymised and aggregated usage data for the purpose of service improvement, analytics, and product development.

5. Intellectual Property and Software Rights

The software powering this Service, including all source code, algorithms, user interface design, and technical implementation, is the exclusive property of digirom GmbH (Drensteinfurt, Germany). "digirom" is a registered trademark in Germany (DPMA Reg. No. 302023214668, Class 42). The software is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws.

All product data, technical specifications, performance curves, brand assets, trademarks, and related content are the property of Dutypoint Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No part of the software or content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for any purpose other than its intended use within the Service without prior written consent from the respective rights holder.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the software
  • Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or harvest data from the Service
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to transmit harmful code, malware, or other malicious content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While Dutypoint endeavours to ensure accuracy of all technical data and selections, no warranty or guarantee is given that the information provided is complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular application.

Pump selections are for guidance only. It is the responsibility of the user or their qualified engineer to verify that selected products are appropriate for their intended application and comply with all applicable regulations and standards.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dutypoint Ltd and digirom GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings, resulting from your use of the Service.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

9. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
